I am sorry this is behind schedule, but better late than never right? Double Decker was a complete success! A big thanks to all who came out to see my booth, I greatly appreciate it! We started the day bright and early, getting in the check-in line at 6:30 am and beginning the set up process. Participants in the 5k began browsing the booths by 9:00 before everything was ready! Luckily I had help from several sweet family members and we got everything displayed soon after.
The day flew by! The Gresham booth was swamped with customers all day long! I sold lots of pieces and couldn't be happier with the turnout. It was such a great experience being a part of the festival and having the opportunity to meet new people and other local artists. This was the first time I have participated in such a large event, and I look forward to next year!
Here are a few pics from the day!
This was the sign hanging on the back wall of the tent. Jon Buell of Buell Design created my new logo! He did an incredible job with the project creating new business cards, earring cards, and price tags.
We were frantic trying to set everything up in time! I used an old bird cage that we found at Round Top to display earrings. I wrapped a string around it and attached the earring cards with mini clothes pins.
We used a round table as the center-piece of the booth. Countless necklaces suspended from a branch, which blossomed from a bed of coral-charm peonies. Bracelets were arranged on antique silver platters.
On either side of the tent we hung large window pane frames from which we strung necklaces and earrings.
As you can see, the booth was packed all day long! I could not have asked for a better turn out; hope to see you all again next year!
