Dallas native, Gresham Hodges, recently graduated from The University of Mississippi where she earned a Liberal Arts degree focusing on Studio Art, Art History, Italian and English. She combined all of these areas of study to write her senior thesis for the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College titled: “Technical and Stylistic Changes in Jewelry from the Time of Theophilus to the Time of Cellini.” Her thesis compared particular patterns and changes in jewelry from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Her love for ancient art and jewelry provides direct inspiration for her own jewelry designs.

Like most young girls, Gresham grew up making friendship bracelets for her and her friends. However, her hobby soon became a passion. She began designing and creating jewelry before high school and held her first trunk show nearly twelve years ago. Dozens of stores internationally now carry Gresham’s line. Though a very involved and busy student in college, Gresham continued to explore her passion creating her unique and elegant designs. Upon graduation Gresham decided to dedicate herself to her jewelry line and make her jewelry business a full time job. Gresham individually designs and crafts each piece by hand, combining semi-precious and precious stones, elements of nature and antique pieces with her sterling silver and gold-filled settings.
